M7 Design GmbH – Wolfsburg, Germany

Providing design solutions for a variety of clients in Germany and Europe since 2018:

Supporting Porsche Entwicklungszentrum in Weissach, Germany to develop a variety of upcoming products on different phases of the design project since 2022;

Penned the Golden A' Design Award Winner M346 Homage concept car project for the Supernova Initiative based on their A.M.U.F-17 platform in 2022. Remotely led a team of designers, digital modelers and engineers located in different parts of the world from end to end until achieving the final A surfaces. Organized tasks, made reviews and gave directions. Created sketches, CAS to Strak models and CGI renderings;

Took an in-company Senior Alias Designer Contractor position at KIA Frankfurt, Germany in 2021and delivered around the clock conceptual modeling proposals during new Picanto design program;

Worked at Hyundai Rüsselsheim, Germany in 2021 and delivered pre-production Strak digital surfacing solutions and feasibility on different upcoming products. Created conceptual digital modeling proposals for the front fascia of the Ioniq 5 N version;

Achieved high quality bespoke CAS modeling solutions for AMG in Affalterbach, Germany in 2020 and delivered conceptual to reverse engineering and Strak solutions during simultaneous design programs such as the AMG C-Class, E-Class, S-Class and CLA models;

Active CAS leadership on different proposals (interiors and exteriors) for different vehicles proposals and showcars at Bugatti Automobiles in Wolfsburg, Germany from 2018 to 2019. Achieved high quality, full conceptual models within reduced time. Worked on the award-winning Centodieci Hommage and on the one-of-a-kind La Voiture Noire.

2009 to 2017

CN DESIGN Ltda, Sao Paulo, Brazil 2009 – 2017

Provided design consultancy and offered bespoke solutions. Partnered with Tier 1 design consultancies and recruitments agencies to supply a variety of end-clients in Brazil, Asia and Europe:

Provided in house end-to-end design services for clients in different segments such as tools, toys and automotive accessories in Sao Paulo, Brazil;

Provided exterior and interior CAS design solutions for Aston Martin Lagonda in Gaydon, UK in 2014 during the DB10 prop car program debuted at the James Bond - Spectre movie in 2015. Took active responsibility for the flanks and rear-end fascia Class A modeling of the Vantage GT12 Special Edition production car;

Worked on exterior and interior Class A surfacing for the new generation of Scania working trucks at Semcon in Gothenburg, Sweden in 2014;

Assisted R Design Studio in Sao Paulo, Brazil in 2013 and delivered exterior and interior CAS modeling for the Bravo Xtreme show car presented at the 2012 Sao Paulo International Auto Show;

Partnered with Technicon Design GmbH and took an in-house Lead CAS Designer position in its studio in Rüsselsheim, Germany from 2011 to 2012. Worked on the feasibility section-book for the second generation Opel Cruze for the Chinese market. Assisted Opel with interior class A surfacing for the Corsa production car presented in 2015;

Partnered with Technicon Design Asia and provided CAS design solutions for its end clients in different locations of China from 2010 to 2011;

Took a Senior Alias Designer position at Mercedes-Benz Advanced Design Center in Beijing, China in 2011 and delivered interior and exterior conceptual CAS modeling for the Denza Tiger Showcar presented at the Shanghai Auto Show in 2013;

Supplied Chery Automobile in Wuhu, China in 2011 and accepted direct responsibility on the front fascia and flanks for the Riich Beta 5 Middle Size SUV presented at the Shanghai Auto Show in 2013;

Joined an international team and provided Class A CAS modeling for FAW Group International in Changchun, China from 2010 to 2011 during the interior of the HongQi L5 “The Big Red Flag” Presidential Limousine. Worked on the exterior of the HongQi Mini Bus providing reverse engineering from clay scan data and supported the prototyping engineering by preparing data for interior bulks;

Accepted a contractor Prototype Engineer position at R Design Studio in Sao Paulo, Brazil in 2010 and supported Renault Design Latin America by providing prototyping solutions during the Sandero GT-Line and Clio Third Generation (Brazilian version) facelift.

IN9DESIGN, SBC, Brazil 2008 – 2009

Provided a whole set of in-house and in-company design services for a variety of clients from different industries:

Assisted clients with end-to-end design solutions (ideation, CAS modeling and advanced visualization) for clients such as Bandeirantes Toys, Federal Mogul, Johnson Controls, Magneti Marelli among others. Designed, structured and lectured automotive sketching and clay sculpting courses for students and designer professionals of other industries. Visited clients to present the company’s services and provided fallow-ups. Took active leadership on projects and guided younger members of the team. Outsourced OEMs with design services and provided CAS design solutions;

Joined Marcopolo S/A in Caxias do Sul, Brazil in 2008 and provided an intensive (basic to advanced) Alias training course for the company’s staff. Offered interior and exterior CAS design solutions during the Paradiso 1200 Generation 7 Interstate Bus;

Took an Alias Designer position within Renault Design Latin America in Sao Paulo in 2008 and worked on the Mégane Allroad project providing exterior CAS modeling.

2006 TO 2008

Resident Alias Team Leader

THE UNDERGROUND WORLD, Sao Caetano do Sul, Brazil

Provided in-house and in-company CAS design services for clients in Brazil and Abroad:

Took an active role as Team Leader at Rossin Bertin Automotive in Sao Caetano do Sul, Brazil from 2007 to 2008 and managed a team of digital modelers during the Vorax supercar project. Worked on interior and exterior, from sketch modeling to Class A reverse engineering;

Joined Speed Design Studio in Santo Andre, Brazil in 2007 and supported Renault Design Latin America by providing exterior and interior conceptual CAS design proposals during the Sandero Sport, Sandero Stepway and Sand’up showcar projects;

Provided CAS design support on the T6 Ranger project in collaboration with Ford Australia and Ford Turkey. Worked on exterior proposals for main design sections as well as on different peripherals and accessories proposals.
